Military history has
interested me all my life, over the years this has refined into
more specific facets of interests including Living History. I
see EBG as a opportunity to express a niche interest in high
medieval martial arts to achieve higher standards in Living
History and the culture of formal combats in the mid to late fourteenth
century.

Before I was aware of
Living History I had and interest in Modern Fencing and had
always wanted to take it up but then I discovered Medieval
Living History which has inspired me ever since. Currently my
obsession is full contact chivalric Martial Arts (fighting in
deeds of arms with the four chivalric weapons).
My quest with EBG is to see it evolve with high standards in all

I enjoy the weapons and
training that Medieval ren-enactment and Western Martial arts
has to offer. In time I have come to appreciate more the

medieval culture that I would like become more immersed in.
