BRIMBANK'S 'TALES' 2004

Brimbank Council's annual 'Tales' for children has been a great success for a few years now.
Its a wonderful experience for children to dress up, have their faces painted, or enjoy
story telling, animals, pony rides etc.
For the first time Nordmania were asked to set up a small display for this years event.
Nordmania is a medieval group that focuses on the early 'Norman' culture.

This event was challenging to organise due to the age group we were dealing with we were requested to offer a display without any sword fighting as well as no swords or medieval weapons.  We concentrated on music, dancing, tablet weaving display as well as offering children the opportunity to try on a helmet or to peek into the tents.

Overall it ended up being a good display even though we had to do without our
usual 'medieval accessories'.
